Prismo Metals Inc. (CSE: PRIZ) ("Prismo" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has selected a drill contractor for its upcoming drilling campaign on its Palos Verdes project, which is contiguous to Vizsla Silver Corp. Panuco silver-gold project located in Sinaloa, Mexico. The drilling campaign is expected to commence on or about the first week of August subject to the receipt of the extension of the Company's permit, which is expected shortly.
The drill program is designed to test the Palos Verdes vein and a structural intersection with a second vein at depths where it is believed that potential for a large ore shoot is present, similar to the drilling accomplished by Vizsla Silver on their adjacent land package. A minimum 2,000 meter program has been contracted. Previous shallow drilling has intersected high grade mineralization with the best intercept of 2,336 g/t Ag and 8.42 g.t Au over a true width estimated at 0.8 meters within a larger mineralized interval with 1,098 g/t Ag and 3.75 g/t Au over a true width of 2.3 meters (see Prismo's news release dated September 30, 2020).
Regarding the drill program, Dr. Craig Gibson, President and CEO of the Company, said: "We are pleased to be able to commence our plan to drill holes to intersect the Palos Verdes vein at significantly deeper levels than the previous drilling. We will be able to test the vein several hundred meters underneath the surface exposures."
Prismo (CSE: PRIZ) is junior mining company focused on precious metal exploration in Mexico.

Mexico’s Sinaloa state hosts a number of prolific silver and gold mines, including McEwen Mining’s (TSX:MUX) El Gallo Complex, Americas Gold and Silver’s (TSX:USA) Cosalá operations and Kootenay Silver’s (TSXV:KTN) Copalito silver-gold project. Between 2012 and 2019, gold production at the El Gallo mine alone totaled 295,000 ounces (oz) and silver production peaked at 142,000 oz.
Prismo Metals (CSE:PRIZ) has made a strategic move to join the list of successful explorers in this region. The company’s leadership team has decades of experience in the Mexican precious metals industry. Director, president and CEO Dr. Craig Gibson has been an exploration consultant since 1998 and a Director of Garibaldi Resources Inc. (TSXV:GGI). Additionally, advisor Dr. Peter Megaw sits on the board of directors and is co-founder of MAG Silver Corp. (TSX:MAG) and Minaurum Gold Inc. (TSXV:MGG). Megaw and his team are credited with MAG Silver’s Juanicipio discovery in the famous Fresnillo District as well as Excellon Resources’ (TSX:EXN) Platosa mine.
Prismo Metals has two current exploration projects: Palos Verdes and Los Pavitos. The Palos Verdes property covers 22.77 hectares within the historic Panuco-Copala silver-gold district in Sinaloa. The district is well-known for its numerous veins with historical production. While much of the district has been consolidated by Vizsla Resources (TSXV:VZLA), the Palos Verdes project is located near the district’s under-explored northeastern limit.
Prismo Metals’ Palos Verdes property includes 700 meters of strike length along the Palos Verdes vein, which has been explored for 250 meters with findings yielding as much as 6.7 grams per ton (g/t) gold and 544 g/t silver from surface and underground sampling. A second vein system may be reflected in a northwest striking alteration zone, offering an additional high-grade exploration target on the property. In 2018, ProDeMin completed a diamond drilling program on the property. Notable drill results included 3.75 g/t gold and 1,098 g/t silver for 2.3 meters as well as 8.42 g/t gold and 2,336 g/t silver for 0.8 meters.
In May 2019, the company and ProDeMin entered an option agreement in which Prismo may acquire 75 percent interest in the Palos Verdes property. A second agreement with the owner of the remaining 25 percent will allow Prismo to obtain 100 percent ownership of the Palos Verdes concession. Prismo is now ready to begin a follow-up drilling program that will consist of four to five holes, with the longest planned at 150 to 175 meters. Drilling is set to begin in early December.
The company’s Los Pavitos project is located in the Alamos region of southern Sonora, a well-mineralized area that hosts several active exploration and mining projects. The project consists of one concession covering 5,289 hectares. Early sampling and reconnaissance work has been carried out by previous companies, including Minera Cascabel.
The company’s Palos Verdes property is located in Southern Sinaloa, roughly 65 kilometers northeast of Mazatlán. The Palos Verdes concession covers 22.77 hectares and is situated within the historic Panuco-Copala mining district, the largest silver producer in Sinaloa.
Limited sampling has been performed on the property. According to a sample database compiled by ProDeMin, findings have yielded as much as 4.15 g/t gold and 732.7 g/t silver. Prior to the turn of the century, a 70 meter tunnel was driven along the Palos Verdes vein near the bottom of the Palos Verdes arroyo. In 2018, ProDeMin completed a diamond drilling program on the property. Notable drill results included 3.75 g/t gold and 1,098 g/t silver for 2.3 meters and 8.42 g/t gold and 2,336 g/t silver for 0.8 meters.
The company recently announced a 10 year surface access agreement that grants Prismo immediate access for exploration. A comprehensive drilling program on the property is set to begin in early December and will include four to five holes, with the longest planned at 150 to 175 meters. Targets include high-grade intercepts lateral to, and below, previous intercepts drilled by ProDeMin in 2018.
The company’s Los Pavitos project is located in the Alamos region of Southern Sonora, a well-mineralized area that hosts multiple active exploration and mining projects. Los Pavitos consists of one concession covering 5,289 hectares. Early sampling and reconnaissance work has been carried out by previous companies, including Minera Cascabel. The property’s numerous mines and prospect pits indicate historical interest.

Prismo Metals Inc. (CSE: PRIZ) ("Prismo" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has completed its previously announced financing for gross proceeds of $682,125 through the exercise of warrants by certain warrantholders, including a number of insiders.
"The proceeds received by Prismo will be primarily used to drill a minimum of 2,000 meters of HQ core at the Company's Verdes property in several holes to test mineralization at depth under the high-grade intercepts from previous drilling campaigns," said Dr. Craig Gibson, President and CEO of Prismo. He added: "Two of these holes intersected high-grade mineralization similar in grade and width to the results of Vizsla Silver Corp. (TSXV: VZLA and NYSE: VZLA) in the Panuco district, whose property is contiguous to Palos Verdes. The best intercepts of these previous drilling campaigns were 2,336 g/t Ag and 8.42 g.t Au over a true width estimated at 0.8 meters within a larger mineralized interval with 1,098 g/t Ag and 3.75 g/t Au over a true width of 2.3 meters (see Prismo's news release dated September 30, 2020). The Company believes these intercepts indicate the presence of a potentially large Ag-Au shoot of the type being defined by Vizsla Silver."
Dr. Gibson concluded: "We are currently in the process of selecting a drilling contractor and we expect drilling to begin in late-July pending reception of our environmental permit."
The Company also expects to use some of the proceeds to finalize surface exploration work on the Los Pavitos property to advance to the drill ready stage, with expected drilling in the fall. Management of Prismo recently held an investor update call. The video of such investor update can be viewed on the Company's website at https://player.vimeo.com/video/721614600

Prismo Metals Inc. (CSE: PRIZ) ("Prismo" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with certain of its warrantholders, including a number of insiders (collectively, the "Warrantholders"), to exercise a total of up to 6,821,250 outstanding founder warrants (the "Warrants") for gross proceeds of $682,125. The Warrants were issued to such Warrantholders in 2018 and 2019, prior to the Company's initial public offering. Each Warrant entitles the holder thereof to purchase one common share of Prismo at a price of $0.10 per share.
The proceeds received by Prismo following the exercise of the Warrants will be primarily used to drill a minimum of 2,000 meters of HQ core at the Company's Verdes property in several holes to test mineralization at depth under the high-grade intercepts from previous drilling campaigns. Two of these holes intersected high-grade mineralization similar in grade and width to the results of Vizsla Silver Corp. in the Panuco district, whose property is contiguous to Palos Verdes. The Company believes these intercepts indicate the presence of a potentially large Ag-Au shoot of the type being defined by Vizsla Silver.
The Company also expects to use some of the proceeds to finalize surface exploration work on the Los Pavitos property to advance to the drill ready stage, with expected drilling in the fall.
"Immediately following the exercise of the warrants, Prismo will be selecting a drilling contractor and expects drilling to begin in late-July pending reception of our environmental permit," said Dr. Craig Gibson, President and CEO of Prismo. He added: "The results recently announced by Vizsla Silver (https://vizslasilvercorp.ca/news/2022) support the large vertical extent of mineralization in the Napoleon vein system, but importantly show the presence of multiple mineralized strands or splits to the vein system, a feature we see at high structural levels at Palos Verdes."
Regarding exploration at Prismo's other project in Mexico, Dr. Gibson said: "We are also pleased to announce that we recently completed a LiDAR survey conducted over almost 40 square kilometres at the Los Pavitos project. We expect to receive the analysis of the LiDAR results in a few weeks to aid in the delineation of important structural trends and complete the work to identify drill targets this summer."

Prismo Metals Inc. (CSE: PRIZ) (the "Company" or "Prismo") is pleased to announce that it has filed on SEDAR a NI 43-101 Technical Report for its Los Pavitos Gold-Silver Project in southern Sonora, Mexico. Los Pavitos is a single 5,289 hectare concession that lies 25 km west of the well-mineralized Alamos District, which encompasses several active exploration and mining projects, including the Alamo Dorado mine of Pan American Silver, the Piedras Verdes mine of Cobre de Mayo and the Alamos and Aurifero vein deposits being explored by Minaurum Gold Inc. Infrastructure is excellent with paved highway access, electricity and water. Prismo has an option to acquire 100% from Minera Cascabel S.A. de C.V., a Mexican exploration and services company founded by Dr. Peter Megaw, an advisor to the Company (for terms of the option, see the Company's prospectus filed on SEDAR dated September 8, 2020).
Past work has identified numerous historic small mines and prospects located along three northeast and northwest-trending property-scale structural corridors extending from outcropping mineralization towards covered areas. Reconnaissance work has identified three main target areas: two lie entirely within the Los Pavitos concession and one is partly covered by a small (200ha) group of internal claims owned by third parties. Historic rock samples from these structures have yielded from 1 g/t over 1.75m to 40.8 g/t Gold over 0.3 meters (See Table 1). The property is largely unexplored and additional targets are expected to be developed quickly through satellite image analysis and field work.
Los Pavitos has potential for both Epithermal Gold-Silver veins and Orogenic (Shear-hosted) Gold deposits. Epithermal veins are the most abundant mineralization style in the area and several have been located in Los Pavitos. However, the project is hosted by Mesozoic metasediments that are part of older terranes that underlie much of Northwest Mexico and these rocks have been regionally sheared and later intruded by plutons of intermediate composition. Rocks of similar composition and history host several large Orogenic Gold deposits that have been discovered elsewhere in western Sonora and Prismo believes Los Pavitos is also prospective for them.
The approved NI 43-101 Technical Report recommends more work to ascertain the dominant mineralization styles at Los Pavitos through a preliminary exploration program consisting of project and target scale geologic mapping and sampling starting in the areas of known gold mineralization with the goal of projecting the geology laterally into areas with partial to completer cover.
Dr. Craig Gibson, President and CEO of the Company, stated, "Los Pavitos provides Prismo a foothold in a long-established but underexplored mining region and provides an excellent opportunity for advancing a potentially large-scale gold project".
Prismo is engaged in mineral exploration and the acquisition of mineral property assets in Mexico. The Company has an option to acquire a 100% interest in the Palos Verdes Property, which lies within the historic high-grade silver-gold Pánuco-Copala Mining District in northwestern Mexico where Vizsla Resources Corp. have reported considerable success recently. The company also has an option to acquire a 100% interest in the Los Pavitos property, located in the well mineralized Alamos region of Sonora.

Includes 315 g/t (10 oz/T) silver with 0.46 g/t Au over 0.5m
Prismo Metals Inc. (CSE: PRIZ) (the "Company" or "Prismo") is pleased to provide results from its initial five hole, 573m shallow-level diamond drilling program carried out on its 100% owned Palos Verdes project, located in the famous Panuco-Copala Mining District in Concordia Municipality of Sinaloa, State, Mexico. The program was designed to test the nature and continuity of mineralization below and lateral to historic shallower-level reconnaissance drilling (See Press Release of 9302020) and to test a newly inferred cross-vein.
To date, drilling geometry has been constrained by working off existing roads that are too close to the vein to allow drilling to desired depths. Permitting for drilling off new roads in more ideal locations is underway. This will not only allow drilling lateral to the high-grade intercepts from earlier drilling, but also drilling deeper in the vein system, a strategy that has been successful in other veins in the district.
All five holes cut mineralized vein ranging from weakly anomalous to the best hole (PV-06) which cut vein breccia and stockwork over 3.2 m (estimated true width) grading 69 g/t Ag, 0.13 g/t Au and negligible Base Metals, including a 0.5 m (ETW) sulfide-rich zone grading315 g/t (10 oz/T) silver and 0.46 g/t gold with negligible base metals. (See Table 1 for results and https://prismometals.com/project/the-palos-verdes-property for maps and sections).
All four of the Palos Verdes vein holes intersected the vein between about 75 and 100m below the surface and in all cases the vein structure showed multiple discrete quartz vein stages lacing between breccia fragments showing distinctly differing mineralogy. Selective sampling of three discrete vein stages in surface exposures (Table 2) shows two extremes: 1. A precious metals-rich stage that reported 18 g/t Au, 1468 g/t Ag, 1.73 % Cu, 2.93% Pb and 10.1% Zn over 0.3m; and 2. A base metals-rich stage that reported 0.16 g/t Au, 110 g/t Ag, 0.2 % Cu, 9.2% Pb and 23.8% Zn. A similar variation is observed in individual samples from the drill holes as can be seen in Table 1.
Hole PV-20-07 was the first ever test of a clay altered shear zone that cuts across the Palos Verdes concession in a northwest orientation, and that hosts the inferred "Northwest Vein", which Prismo geologists recognized by tracing isolated outcrops of massive, banded and brecciated quartz vein material. Hole PV-20-07 cut this shear zone obliquely near its intersection with the Palos Verdes vein and intersected a wide brecciated and sheared interval containing anomalous precious and base metals values but was not drilled at an orientation that allowed testing of the Northwest Vein.
"So far, all the drilling in the Palos Verdes vein has been very shallow and these new results, combined with older data, reveal the sort of variability of width and grade that we expect to see in the very top of veins in this district. This supports our interpretation that we are well above any coherent Bonanza-grade zones in the system and we are very eager to trace the Palos Verdes vein to greater depths and along strike," said Dr. Craig Gibson, President and CEO of the Company. "We are also pleased to have confirmed the suspected Northwest vein and look forward to including it in our next campaign as we trace both veins to depth, hopefully into more consistent widths and grades."

The Palos Verdes project lies at the eastern, and topographically highest end of the historic Pánuco-Copala silver-gold district in southern Sinaloa, Mexico, approximately 65 kilometers NE of Mazatlán, Sinaloa, in the Concordia Municipality. The Palos Verdes vein is a member of the important north-easterly trending vein family, which provided much of the district's historic production. The Palos Verdes concession (claim) covers 700 meters of strike length of the vein outside of the area of modern exploration. Shallow drilling conducted in 2018 on the Palos Verdes Vein was targeted 30 to 50 meters beneath largely barren vein outcrops and cut a well-mineralized multistage vein two to seven metres wide with narrow intervals of high-grade precious metal values and subordinate base metals (see table of intercepts at www.prismometals.com). This mineralization is open in all directions the planned drilling program is designed to follow it along strike and to depth.

Prismo Metals Inc. (CSE: PRIZ) (the "Company" or "Prismo") is pleased to provide an update of the drilling program underway at its Palos Verdes project, located in Concordia Municipality, Sinaloa, Mexico. The Company has completed its 2020 drilling campaign with four holes totaling 436.8 metres of a planned 500-metre program. Three holes focused on testing the Palos Verdes vein lateral to, and below, the 8.4 gt Au and 2,336 gt Ag, over 0.8m true width drilled in May 2018 (See Prismo press release of September 30, 2020). The fourth hole tested a northwest-trending shear zone that was traced across the property just before the drilling program. Problems with the drill rig mean the planned fifth hole may not be completed until after the holiday break.
The three Palos Verdes vein holes cut zones between 10 and 20 metres wide (estimated true thickness) laced with multiple, closely spaced, variably mineralized quartz veins and vein breccias. These multistage vein zones show several different styles and textures of quartz veining and sulphide mineralization. Some stages are dominated by pyrite, sphalerite, galena and chalcopyrite, while others show variable amounts of a very fine-grained black opaque mineral that may be silver sulphide (acanthite). Photos of core from typical vein intercepts are presented on the Prismo website at https://prismometals.com/project/the-palos-verdes-property. Assay results for 119 samples from the first three holes are expected by February 2021, followed by those for the fourth hole which should be submitted this week.
"We are delighted with the widths of multistage quartz veining cut in all four holes and the similarity of mineralization to our high-grade 2018 drillholes," said Dr. Craig Gibson, President and CEO of the Company. "We are especially pleased with how the vein zone is widening with depth and look forward to returning after the break and continuing to drill this very promising vein system."
Hole PV-20-07 cut 30.5 metres (drill length) of broken vein quartz with locally visible pyrite and sphalerite in a strongly argillized shear zone in the first test of a northwest-trending shear zone recently traced through patchy outcrops of quartz vein material and alteration for about 150 metres across the property. These scattered outcrops have long been believed to mark the trace of a largely hidden vein that was mined through now collapsed workings well south of the Palos Verdes Vein. This northwesterly trending alteration zone crosses the northeasterly striking Palos Verdes vein roughly in the middle of the Palos Verdes claim.

Nevada Sunrise Gold Corp. ("Nevada Sunrise", or the "Company") (TSXV: NEV) (OTC: NVSGF) is pleased to announce that it has submitted a permit amendment to the U.S. Bureau of Land Management (the "BLM") for the Company's 100%-owned Gemini Lithium Project ("Gemini"), located in the Lida Valley basin in Esmeralda County, Nevada . The permit amendment seeks to expand the number of permitted borehole locations to twelve (12), which includes the two successful boreholes drilled during the Company's maiden drilling program in March and April 2022 (see Nevada Sunrise news releases dated May 18, 2022 and June 6, 2022 ).
In conjunction with the anticipated expansion of the permitted target areas at Gemini, and through its wholly-owned Nevada subsidiary company, Intor Resources Corporation, Nevada Sunrise has initiated the distribution of tenders to U.S.-based drilling companies with the goal of securing a drilling contractor by August 1, 2022 .
Ten new drill sites are proposed by Nevada Sunrise, locations which are designed to test the conductive zones detected in ground geophysical time domain electromagnetic ("TDEM") surveys carried out by the Company in 2016 and 2022 (see Nevada Sunrise news release dated June 11, 2022 ). The objective of the Phase 2 drilling at Gemini is twofold: (1) to delineate shallow conductive horizons that could represent lithium-bearing clays, and (2) drilling through the clay layers to further investigate the lithium-bearing brines intersected in boreholes GEM22-01 and GEM22-02.
Gemini consists of 586 unpatented placer and lode claims located in the western Lida Valley, Esmeralda County , approximately 6 miles (10 kilometres) east of the town of Lida, Nevada . In the spring of 2022, Nevada Sunrise expanded the size of the Project to a land position covering approximately 5,700 acres (2,331 hectares). Gemini is situated adjacent to the Gold Point Solar Energy Zone, a BLM land reserve set aside for solar and wind power generation projects until 2033.
The Lida Valley is a flat, arid basin with a similar geological setting to the better-known Clayton Valley basin where Albermarle Corporation operates the Silver Peak lithium brine mine, which has operated continuously since 1966. Exploration at Gemini is complemented by the Company's 80.09 acre-feet/year water right, a pre-requisite for the exploration and development of lithium brine projects in Nevada . Under State law, water cannot be pumped from a subterranean source without a valid water permit.
Nevada Sunrise drilled two reverse circulation ("RC") boreholes for a total of 2,020 feet (615.85 metres) in its maiden drilling program at Gemini in March and April 2022 . The initial results represent a new discovery of lithium-bearing sediments and lithium-in-water in the western Lida Valley, which has not been historically drill tested for lithium mineralization. The analytical results from boreholes GEM22-01 and GEM22-02, located 0.69 miles (1.1 kilometres) apart suggest that the extent of lithium-bearing clay layers and waters at Gemini may be widespread.
Water samples from borehole GEM-22-01 averaged 327.7 milligrams per litre ("mg/L") lithium over 220 feet (67.07 metres) from 600 to 820 feet (182.93 to 250 metres) with a peak value of 519 mg/L lithium . Water samples from borehole GEM22-02 returned an average of 116.28 mg/L lithium over 460 feet (140.24 metres) from 660 to 1,120 feet (201.22 to 341.46 metres) with a peak value of 286.0 mg/L lithium.
For further information on Gemini, including location maps and photos click here
The results of geochemical analysis on sediment samples described in this news release were shipped in March and April 2022 to American Assay Laboratories and ALS Group USA ("ALS") and were analyzed utilizing a multi-element ICP-MS method. Specifically, the analytical method involves aqua regia digestion of the sample followed by the inductively coupled plasma (ICP) technique to ionize the sample, and spectrometry to determine elemental concentrations. Duplicates, field blanks, and certified reference standards were inserted at regular intervals in the sample stream to ensure accuracy of the analytical method.
Water parameters including TDS, conductivity, temperature, and pH values were obtained in the field by direct measurement with a handheld Hanna Model 98194 Multiparameter Meter, which meets Good Laboratory Practice (as proscribed by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) for calibration and measurement. All depth measurements reported, including sample and interval widths are down-hole. As holes are oriented vertical and geologic stratigraphy is primarily horizontal to sub-horizontal, downhole measurements are assumed to be close to true thickness.
Groundwater samples were collected at 20-foot (6.1-metre) intervals and sent to Western Environmental Testing Laboratory in Reno , Nevada under project chain-of-custody protocols for analysis. Industry standard methods for examination of water were employed by the laboratory. General chemistry testing included analysis for specific gravity, total hardness, total alkalinity, bicarbonate, carbonate, hydroxide, total dissolved solids (TDS) and electrical conductivity. Anions (chloride, sulfate) were analyzed by ion chromatography. Trace metals (lithium, magnesium, boron, calcium, potassium, strontium, and sodium) were analyzed by inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectroscopy (ICP-OES) methods.

Blue Star Gold Corp. (TSXV: BAU) (FSE: 5WP0) (OTCQB: BAUFF) ("Blue Star" or the "Company") announces the first drill results from its 2022 exploration program on the Ulu, Hood River and Roma projects located in the Kitikmeot Region of Nunavut. Assays from the initial Flood Zone drill hole are reported herein. The Company is also providing an update on additional exploration activities on its multi-prong exploration effort across its highly prospective Ulu, Hood River, and Roma projects.
Blue Star's CEO, Grant Ewing, commented, "Our 2022 exploration campaign has begun with impressive results returned from DD22-FLO-002, which has the highest value (grams gold x width metres) of all intercepts drilled by Blue Star. The intercepts in FLO-002 are expected to allow the conversion of existing inferred ounces to an indicated category and expand the Flood Zone resource. Our understanding of controls on mineralization has improved significantly over the last several months and this has contributed to better targeting at both the deposit and property scale. Several promising target areas throughout our prospective landholdings will be assessed during the current program."
The drilling at the Flood Zone is designed to provide additional data in areas where geological and resource modeling have data gaps and drilling at the Gnu Zone area is designed to expand the known extents of mineralised structures.
DD22-FLO-002 intersected 15.00 g/t gold over 17.65 m, and 5.30 g/t gold over 5.70 m, in a sparsely drilled area of the Flood Zone at approximately 100 m vertical depth. Both intercepts are within a structurally disrupted zone between a high Fe-Ti basalt unit and lower Fe-Ti basalt unit immediately adjacent to the sediment fold hinge. Drill hole DD22-FLO-001 tested the width of the Flood Zone in a near surface area where previous drilling ended prematurely. Core lengths of 6.64 m and2.30 m with acicular arsenopyrite mineralisation were encountered in DD22-FLO-001; assays are pending.
Assays are pending for all holes drilled in the Gnu Zone area including: DD22-MIQ-001, an eastward step-out along and down dip of the known acicular arsenopyrite zone (it intersected a blind polymetallic vein however it did not intersect the target zone); DD22-MIQ-002, a westward step-out along the known acicular arsenopyrite trend which intersected 2.25 m of 6% acicular arsenopyrite; and DD22-MIQ-003/003A.
Other Gnu Zone drill holes completed to date include DD22-QIP-001 and DD22-QIP-002 that are evaluating the new polymetallic vein discovery (20.8 g/t Au over 8.15 m) made by Blue Star in 2021. All of these holes are being sampled or have samples at the laboratory and these assays will be released once results are received.
Darren Lindsay, Blue Star's VP Exploration stated: "The team has done an outstanding job from getting the camp running, to successfully completing the regional magnetics program over Roma and Hood River, to delivering these initial spectacular results (FLO-002) in areas of geological uncertainty within the existing Flood Zone deposit. In addition, another polymetallic vein has been discovered while determining the extent of the 2021 vein discovery at the Gnu Zone. On top of these successes the exploration team is also very excited about implementing the detectORE™ system of Portable PPB Pty Ltd in our regional exploration efforts."

The geophysical component of the 2022 program is now complete with 1,690 line km at 50 - 100m line spacing flown over the entire Roma landholdings, and 1,365 line kms at 50m line spacing flown over the entire Ulu lease and Hood River concession that was not previously conducted in the 2021 survey. Final deliverables are pending which will further guide our mapping and prospecting programs over the landholdings.
An orientation survey over the known areas of mineralization in the Ulu lease including the Flood Zone and the Gnu Zone have been completed with samples processed by the detectORE™ system for rapid low level gold analysis by portable XRF. Anomalous zones were detected in the areas expected including down-ice of the Flood Zone deposit. Subsequently the regional sampling program on the Roma project has been initiated.
Blue Star Gold's Projects
The Company's properties are located approximately 525 km NNE of Yellowknife, NT in the Kitikmeot region of western Nunavut. The hamlet of Kugluktuk is approximately 210 km to the NW. The Roma property lies approximately 30 km north of the Ulu-Hood River property. The total area of Blue Star's projects encompasses 267 km2 of the highly prospective and underexplored High Lake Greenstone Belt.
The Ulu mining lease hosts the advanced stage Flood Zone gold deposit, where a significant high-grade gold resource has been outlined. Several additional gold prospects (including, but not limited to, Zebra, Contact, Central, Axis, and Gnu) are spatially related to the axis of the 5 km long Ulu Fold, which extends from the Ulu lease onto the northern part of the Hood River property and culminates at the North Fold Nose Zone. The recent expansion of the Hood River concession added several new target zones south of the Flood Zone gold deposit. The eastern side of the Hood River property is contiguous to the Ulu lease, and hosts over twenty known gold showings. The Hood River prospects have the same deformation history (including tight folding) as well as similar mineralization styles (acicular arsenopyrite and polymetallic quartz veins) and stratigraphic sequences as the Flood Zone. One of the most prospective target areas on the eastern Hood River property is the 4 km long Crown-Pro trend which has seen only limited drilling.
The Roma project lies in the northern section of the High Lake Greenstone Belt. The project covers high grade gold showings discovered by previous explorers, notably BHP Minerals from 1988 to 1994. Multiple significant gold showings are present within a 6.5 km x 2.4 km area on the historic Roma claim block. The original showing is a 0.30 to 3.0 m wide quartz vein exposed in outcrop and boulders for 2.0 km. In 1991, BHP drilled 10 shallow holes totalling 465 metres to test 1.72 km of strike of the vein. All drill holes intersected quartz veins from 15 m to 37 m vertically below surface. Visible gold was noted in three of the drillholes and the best results were 12.38 g/t Au over 2.31 m (including 64.0 g/t Au over 0.37 m) from DDH MD-01, and 8.69 g/t Au over 1.87 m from MD-03. No drilling was conducted downdip of the high-grade intersection in DDH MD-01 and no step out drilling to the north from this intercept was conducted. No follow up drilling is known to have been completed on this property since BHP's initial drill program in the 1990's. The Company has not verified the historical results from the Roma property and has presented information obtained from two assessment reports submitted by BHP Minerals Canada Ltd.; McMaster, G., (1995). Roma 3,4,5 and 6 Claims 1995 Geological and Geochemical Report, and Anonby, L. and Jopson, W., (1992). Geological, Geochemical, Geophysical and Drilling Report on the Roma 1 and 2 Claims.
The site of the future deep-water port at Gray's Bay is 40 - 100 km to the north of the properties, and the proposed route corridor for the all-weather Gray's Bay road passes in close proximity to the Roma, Ulu, and Hood River projects.

ALX Resources Corp. (TSXV: AL) (FSE: 6LLN) (OTC: ALXEF) ("ALX" or the "Company") announced today the analytical results from the inaugural drilling program at its Electra Nickel Project located 35 kilometres northwest of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.
The 2022 exploration program began in mid-March 2022 and six of the eight planned holes were completed for a total of 1,155 metres drilled. Two targets remain undrilled because of warming weather conditions that exposed creeks and other wetlands, which impeded surface access. Downhole electromagnetic surveys were completed on two of the first four drill holes to better define the targeted conductors detected by ALX's 2021 airborne VTEMTM survey flown by Geotech Ltd. of Aurora, Ontario. A ground electromagnetic geophysical survey was carried out in on an undrilled target, which has provided an improved collar location for follow-up drilling.
Highlights of the 2022 Drilling Program
Nickel - The most notable nickel values occur within holes Elec22-01, Elec22-02 and Elec22-06. These results are interpreted as the peripheral geochemical expression of a much larger mineralizing system.
The highest overall concentrations in nickel over significant widths occur in the upper half of hole Elec22-02 and in hole Elec22-06 with anomalous concentrations ranging from approximately 200 ppm to a high of 2,080 ppm.
An increasing nickel content associated with increasing magnesium is common in basaltic komatiitic terranes, not only at Electra but worldwide. The corresponding increase in nickel values versus magnesium oxide ("MgO") trend is due to the presence of higher amounts of the silicate mineral olivine, which is rich in nickel and MgO.
However, classic magmatic net-textured sulphide concentrations, clasts and blebs are observed at approximately 108 metres in hole Elec22-02, and demonstrate that a magmatic sulphide-forming process was operative in this mineralizing system. This magmatic sulphide horizon also marks a notable break in the underlying upward-increasing nickel trend into a significant nickel depletion interval. The fact that the associated magmatic sulphides are so depleted in nickel suggests that nickel-enriched equivalents may occur elsewhere along strike or down dip from hole Elec22-02.

Zinc - Wide intervals of anomalous zinc concentrations occur in most of the drill holes. This and the fragmental nature of the volcano-clastic sequences suggest that this is potentially a zinc-rich volcanogenic massive sulphide ("VMS") environment. The following notable concentrations are:
Platinum and Palladium - The concentration of platinum and palladium is generally less than 15 parts per billion ("ppb"), which is representative for basaltic-komatiites from elsewhere in Canada and Australia. However, of note are the platinum and palladium values near the end of hole in Elec22-06 where a high of 121 ppb platinum and 33 ppb palladium was found in over 0.75 metres from 162 to 162.75 metres. The observation in the drill log for Elec22-06 of disseminated sulphides in the gabbroic host rock suggest that this drill hole should be followed up to a greater depth.
Gold - In hole Elec22-06, 0.444 grams/tonne ("g/t") gold with an accompanying value of 8.33 g/t silver over 0.68 metres was noted from 61.96 to 62.64 metres in a mudstone unit.
Copper - Two strongly anomalous copper values were found in the drill core: Elec22-05 - 2,050 ppm copper over 0.46 metres from 60.00 to 60.46 metres, and Elec22-06 - 1,375 ppm copper over 0.47 metres from 61.49 to 61.96 metres.

Electra is located near Thunder Bay, Ontario, in a fertile exploration district well-linked to highways, roads and trails, and lies near a powerline and the Canadian National Railroad. The Project consists of 190 cell units totaling approximately 4,066 hectares (10,047 acres) and is prospective for nickel-copper-cobalt, platinum group elements ("PGE"), and gold. ALX has the option to earn a 100% interest in Electra after fulfilling payment obligations of cash and common shares, and exploration expenditures according to the terms of an option agreement signed in December 2020 (see ALX news release dated December 31, 2020).
The Electra magmatic-sedimentary geological and geophysical environment is similar to that of other komatiite-hosted nickel sulphide terranes in Canada and Western Australia. The challenges encountered at Electra are similar to those in other komatiitic terranes; i.e., the presence of barren sedimentary and volcanogenic conductive sulphides with high background zinc concentrations.
In the late 1990's a "nickel-sulphide" geochemical vector was developed in the Kambalda nickel camp of Western Australia. The vector was formulated not to find obvious nickel sulphide mineralization that could be observed directly in drill core, but to point out stratigraphic horizons with chemical signatures suggestive of potential enhanced nickel-copper-PGE sulphide concentrations along strike. Other than obvious nickel sulphides observed and subsequently assayed from core, potential nickel sulphide horizons can remain hidden (cryptic) and only detected by the application of proven geochemical vectors. ALX continues to evaluate the outcome of the 2022 exploration program by integrating the geological, geochemical and geophysical results in order to determine the best target areas for follow-up drilling. ALX's drilling permit at Electra is good until March 2025.
QA/QC and Analytical Methods
QA/QC following industry best practices was incorporated into the drill core sampling and included systematic insertion of quartz blanks and certified reference materials into sample batches, as well as collection of quarter-core duplicates, at a rate of approximately 10%. All drill core samples were collected as half-split core, apart from quarter-split duplicates.
All samples were shipped to ALS Global Geochemistry Analytical Lab ("ALS") for multi-element analysis. ALS is an ISO-IEC 17025:2017 and ISO 9001:2015 accredited analytical laboratory that is independent of ALX and its Qualified Person. Diamond drill core samples were analyzed using ALS's super trace multi-element 4-acid digest with ICP-MS determination for 51 elements. Gold, platinum and palladium assays were determined on a 30-gram lead bead fire assay ICP-MS finish.
The technical information in this news release has been reviewed and approved by Dr. Larry Hulbert, D.Sc., P.Geo. who is a Qualified Person in accordance with the Canadian regulatory requirements set out in National Instrument 43-101.
