Police hope to identify the people responsible for the theft of drilling equipment and tools valued at approximately $30,000.

The following items were reported stolen from a cube van in the MacCallum Road and Highway 129 area north of Thessalon:     •    Two Husqvarna concrete core drills     •    Husqvarna power pack drill     •    Husqvarna stand     •    Hilti drill model 500     •    Hilti drill model 300     •    Assorted diamond drill core bits     •    2022 Yamaha dirt bike     •    FXR helmet     •    Motorcycle boots and gloves

Police say the theft took place sometime between Aug. 5 and Aug. 8.
